PLEASE NOTE: Donations made to the Save the Stack fund are not tax deductible. The Friends of Curtis Mill Park is not a non profit and does not hold 501c3 status. The Friends are simply a group of Newark residents with the desire to preserve an important peice of our history.

Individuals who make the choice to support current and future generations of Newark by contributing to the Save the Stack Fund will be assisting in creating a lasting landmark for all to enjoy. Why do we need donors? We need funding to make necessary repairs and refurbishments to the old smoke stack. We envision the stack to stand as a silent sentinel welcoming residents and visitors to Newark. With enough funding we will be able to illuminate the stack each night and present a stunning visual for everyone.
